Orihuela Costa

Orihuela Costa is a coastal region situated on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante. It sits close to the border with Murcia, near La Manga and the beautiful Mar Menor. Despite its name it is actually around 20 kilometres away from the main resort of Orihuela. The region covers several seaside resorts including Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Villamartin, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras.
Orihuela Costa is an ideal destination for those looking for a beach family holiday, with 16 kilometres of diverse coastline. It is also an excellent choice for golf holidays; in fact Orihuela Costa is well equipped for all needs, with lots of amenities, facilities and leisure attractions.

Torrevieja

Torrevieja is a city and coast town from Alicante. At the south of it, in the region of Vega Baja del Segura, it is in a setting with high landscape value and ecological on the shores of Mediterraneo and next to La Mata and Torrevieja lagoons, where nature lovers can enjoy of long walks on the shores of the sea, considering that there are over 40km from coast to coast, from Guardamar del Segura to Dehesa de Campoamor.

Unique beaches because of crystalline water and white and soft sand, beach bars where the entertainment and gastronomy are together during, almost, the whole year since the climate advantages of the region. Costa Blanca South offers us more than 320 sunny days a year and an average of temperature over 19ºC, which gives us, even in winter, the perfect location to enjoy every moment close to the sea and open and nature spaces.

In addition, the city gives us a lot of sports clubs, with more than 250.000 m2 of sports facilities as in sports centres or water sports.

Regarding the entertainment, Torrevieja city as well as the rest of surrounding towns, rely on an endless number of restaurants, bars, lodging, night pubs, cultural facilities, typical places in where history precedes and many shops and shopping centres to have a funny day shopping.

Another advantage of this city is the closeness and access to the most known airports such as the international Alicante airport, just 50km and Murcia airport which is only 30km away, driving through the AP7 or N332.

La Mata

Located in Torrelamata, you can find La Mata beach, with 2.300m lenght and more than 40m wide.

It is between Cabo Cervera, at the south and north Torre de la Mata, which gives the name to this place. It has a long promenade along the sea where you can stop and eat or drink something in one the several beach bars and restaurants from the area or even from the town.

Behind the beach, there is a huge extension of sandy dunes which make the 'Parque Molino del Agua' where it is located a very original and recommended restaurant with boat shape called 'El Queen Mississippi'.

In this area there are also an endless number of shops and stores to spend the day.

Just 10 minutes by car, you will get to Habaneras shopping centre or 20min to the famous Zenia Boulevard shopping centre. In Orihuela Costa, where even there you can still enjoy lovely beaches with soft sand and crystalline water. Enjoying the fabulous sunset from any of the beach bars or trying the most variety of food from some of the several bars and restaurants.

Also la Mata has really good access to the main roads to Alicante and Murcia, like A7 or N332.

San Pedro del Pinatar

San Pedro del Pinatar, beautiful town between the warm beaches of Mar Menor in Costa Cálida and the crystalline water from Mar Mediterráneo in Costa Blanca South.

Place of traditions and culture surrounded by nature and coast, this destiny is famous because of its fishing culture, theraputhic muds and its salt lakes. Kilometres of coastal area with long walks at the seaside or you can go to the inside of the region where there are mountainous landscapes, for instance ‘Cabezo Gordo’ rocky mountain, or enjoying the Natural Park Las Salinas, which is located between San Pedro del Pinatar and its coastal area Lo Pagan (where the entertainment and fun never sleep), where stay hundreds of species of birds, but the most characteristic and you can see in the pink water are flamingos.

But besides it is the perfect place where the sun shines more than 320 days a year and the average of temperature is over 19ºC mostly of the year. So you can take advantage of the day-to-day can be a routine, having a snack in one of the endless terraces in one of the bars and restaurants, even beach bars that this lovely place offers you. Practising any outdoor or water sport or at the great sport centre. Or another option is going shopping through the town of San Pedro del Pinatar where thousands of shops are, becoming a lively place during the whole year! And if you want spend time in a shopping centre, you Will be just 3km away from Dos Mares, which is opened almost 365 days a year or the very popular Zenia Boulevard, one of the biggest shopping centres in Europe, where getting there is so easy along the A7 or N332, just 12km away.

Access to the main roads A7 and N332 to Alicante airport 74km or the newest one in Murcia-Corvera to 42km.

San Javier / Santiago de la Ribera

Located in Santiago de la Ribera, which is the most populated district of the municipality of San Javier in the Region of Murcia. It is located on the coast of the Mar Menor along a wide strecht of coast. It has 4 kilometers of beach, including Castillico, Barnuevo and Colón certified with the Q of Tourist Quality. Mar Menor is a salt water lagoon with semicircular shape; it is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a strip of sand. Its special ecological and natural characteristics make the Mar Menor a unique natural place.

The neighbourhood of San Blas is located between San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, among pine trees full of history from the s. XVI where still today you can find properties from those years as Torre García (17th-18th century) or Benimar (1910 of neomudejar style).

Regarding the sport activities and leisure, Santiago de la Ribera offers a big selection and variety of sports as much in its sport facilities as outdoors like running, yoga, pilates, football, windsurfing, swimming... etc.

Enjoying any outdoor activity is possible thanks to the more of 320 sunny days in a year and the temperature average over 19ºC mostly of the days of the year.

But, if suddenly a rainy or cold day comes, or simply you want to spend a shopping day or going to the cinema, you can do it at the shopping center Dos Mares, which is opened almost 365 days a year. You can choose between more than 70 stores, 16 restaurants with an infinite gastronomic offer for all tastes and budgets. There is also a cinema with 8 modern movie theaters. So, you can scheduled a perfect shopping day full of choices.

And if that were not enough, you have 38km to the brand new international airport Corvera-Murcia and 80km to the famous Alicante airport.
